EWHC Awards and All-Conference

Most Valuable Player - TAISIYA RYKOVA, NORTHERN CYCLONES

Taisiya Rykova of the Northern Cyclones has been named EWHC Regular Season MVP for the 2018-19 season. 

Rykova was spectacular all-around for the Cyclones this season scoring 16 goals and 12 assists to tie for a league-leading 28 points. During the playoffs, Rykova collected two goals and two assists, including the game-tying goal against the Express in the EWHC Championship game that eventually sent the game to overtime and resulted in a Cyclones victory.

Forward of the Year - HAYLEY PARRISH, WALPOLE EXPRESS

Hayley Parrish of the Walpole Express has been named EWHC Forward of the Year for the 2018-19 season. 

Parrish led the league in goals during the regular season with 17. She added 11 goals to tie for a league-best 28 points during that span. The Express finished the regular season with a 12-8-1 record. In the playoffs,  Parrish led the Express with a pair of goals against the Wizards to help her team advance to the championship game. 

Defender of the Year - MADI BROWN, NORTHERN CYCLONES

Madi Brown of the Northern Cyclones has named EWHC Defender of the Year for the 2018-19 season. 

Brown anchored a Cyclones defensive unit that gave up just 1.37 goals per game. Offensively, Brown notched five goals and a league-best 13 assists during the regular season, for a total of 18 points. During the post season, Brown chipped in with a goal and two assists.  In the EWHC Championship against Walpole, Brown dished out an assist on the game-winner just 15 seconds into overtime.

Goaltender of the Year - HANNAH PODVEY, NEW JERSEY COLONIALS

Hannah Podvey of the New Jersey Colonials has been named EWHC Goaltender of the Year for the 2018-19 season. 

In her first season of EWHC play, the goaltender did not miss a minute of action for her team, playing and completing all 21 possible regular season contests, seeing 951 minutes between the pipes. Podvey led the league with a whopping 552 saves, 262 more than the next player. During the regular season, the goaltender posted a .857 save percentage. In the post season, Podvey managed 102 minutes in goal for New Jersey, making 42 total saves and earning the clean sheet victory over the Philadelphia Junior Flyers to advance to the Semifinals.
